Welcome to With Rachlv.! Branding my presence on social media and the online community is something I’ve been wanting to do for a long, long time!
What does branding even mean?
I’m a person who loves consistency. I love things to match and for things to make sense together (might be the obsessive film degree in me 😆). Branding my style, both in my home and in the colors, patterns, and textures I use for social platforms such as Instagram and my website here, mean that you’ll be able to easily recognize my work and my style because they flow well together and follow a specific theme and design.
New goals and new ambitions.
This is also a new era of content creation for me –– I am now a RewardStyle influencer, which means I can link any products or items in my home for you to shop! Using my unique link means I can earn a small commission if you purchase that item (at no extra cost to you!). I would love to continue creating content, and advances like this mean I can do so!
So, let’s talk about why.
Why did I choose certain colors, styles, and elements? Here is a little about the colors, style, and feel that I’m inspired by, not only in my platforms across the web, but also in my personal home and life style:
🌿 Preserved and dried flowers because I’m a reminiscing, nostalgic person at my very core! (and this style also just happened to work out and fall into my mood board with the review I set up for Project Memory Co. just a few days ago 😆!)
🌿 Neutral tones in my home and my style because having a softer environment allows me to fill it with vibrant memories and lively moments. I want colors to stay soft so that life around them can be bold.
🌿 New custom photo filters because I want colors to be more true and to reflect life as it really is. My old filters were too desaturated/faded and often looked so much different than they do in real life!
🌿 The phrasing of “with” in With Rachlv. as a way to invite you to come with me on this journey, because you’re such a big part of it too! While I’ll still be focused primarily on interior and home design, I want to be able to share more of my life and who I am, because some of my favorite parts of this platform are seeing the people behind the camera.
🌿 And why this website/blog? It’ll live as a more formal platform where you can shop the products I talk about, read more in-depth tutorials or backstories to my projects, and see more photos, closer-up 😏
A labor of love.
All of this has taken so much work and time, but I’ve really loved every part of it! I don’t have a fancy camera or everything put together completely, but I hope to continue pouring myself 100% in all I do here on this platform and others — to continue to make new friends, learn from all of you, and grow in this community I am always humbled by.
